Há muito tempo eu não atualizo o blog, sim, por falta de tempo, não de sugestões! E para variar trago uma banda de nome suspeito (lembram-se do Better Than Ezra?) : FRIGTHENED RABBIT.

Bom, essa banda foi uma grata surpresa para mim no final de 2008. Como todos sabem, o fim de ano é o responsável por listas e mais listas. Então em uma dessas minhas navegadas vi uma lista com os discos mais bem recomendados do então ano vigente. Bem, não preciso dizer que o desta banda estava incluso, correto? A primeira faixa que eu ouvi foi "My Backwards Walk" e gostei, mas o melhor estava por vir... Eu simplesmente só ouvia o FR (para os íntimos). Estava em êxtase com as músicas envolventes. Se você fechar os olhos e se deixar levar você se sentirá em um típico pub fazendo parte de um show onde todos cantam e se emocionam.
Enfim, não há muito o que falar..sinta por você mesmo!

Death Cab For Cutie

Se você é ou foi fã de The O.C Death Cab For Cutie com certeza não soará estranho para você. DCFC, para os íntimos, é a banda favorita do Seth. Inclusive a banda já fez várias participações na série tocando na casa de shows de Orange County (OC).
Como um bom fã de trilhas sonoras eu não podia deixar de me interar mais sobre a trilha de The O.C. Logo procurei as músicas que tocavam nos espisódios, consegui a triçha oficial e advinhem o que mais me chamou a atenção? 4 letras: DCFC. AH, sim..o nome!? Esse nome foi retirado de uma música de um artista chamado Vivian Stanshall.
As melodias são tão interessantes, as letras fascinantes; não tem como não achar, pelo menos, cativante.
O vocalista Ben Gibbard tem uma banda paralela chamada The Postal Service (post futuro, ok?). Dois trabalhos de excelente qualidade.
Esse ano o DCFC lançou o álbum Narrow Stairs que já entrou figurando a lista de 10 mais da iTunes Store. Natural para uma banda de renome lá fora e infelizmente muito pouco conhecida aqui. Bem, até agora certo?
